At its January 27, 2026 Regular meeting CPC voted to approve a letter to the City of San Diego requesting that community representatives be granted equal time for cohesive presentations as is granted to project applicants, developers, and other proponents before the Planning Commission, City Council, and its committees.

CVCPG Emerald Hills Project Appeal
At its December 2, 2025 Regular Meeting, the Community Planners Committee (CPC) overwhelmingly voted to approve an action item submitted by CPC Member – Chollas Valley/Encanto. The item requested CPC’s support for the appeal of the Emerald Hills Project in Emerald Hills.

Next CPC Regular Meeting - February 24, 2026
CPC meetings provide a forum to discuss citywide planning issues. The meetings often include presentations by City Planning Department staff and other speakers on topics of interest to the CPC. The meetings are an opportunity to network with other community leaders and discuss important policy or development issues with City Planning staff.
